Clearigy Referral Program
Program terms
Version 2026-10-18. These terms apply to a referral code issued under this program.
1. The program
Clearigy pays a fee to a person who introduces a home services business owner, when a transaction with that owner closes. The fee is paid to the person who made the introduction. It is not paid to a company that is not the applicant, and it is never paid to an AI model or agent. The AI agent program is separate and pays the human operator.
The program page is clearigy.com/refer.html. The one-page card is clearigy.com/refer-card.html.
2. Who can take part
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract in the United States. You may apply as an individual or through a business you control.
You cannot take part if you are a broker, finder or paid intermediary whose existing agreement with Clearigy or with the owner conflicts with this program; a Clearigy employee, contractor or a member of their household; or an AI agent or model. You cannot refer yourself, a business you own, or a business you control.
3. The fee
Clearigy pays only when a transaction closes. A call, a meeting, an introduction, a letter of intent or a signed engagement that does not close pays nothing.
The fee is between $500 and $5,000 for each referred owner. The amount is set when the transaction closes, based on the outcome, for example the type and size of the transaction and the work involved. Clearigy confirms the amount with you in writing before the close.
Only one fee is payable per referred owner. If more than one person claims the same introduction, Clearigy pays the person whose code is recorded first, or divides the fee if the facts support it.
4. What counts as a referral
The owner must be a home services business, owner-operated or closely held, with $250,000 or more in verifiable annual revenue, and must have a real growth, operations, management or exit goal. The owner must be new to Clearigy: no contact with Clearigy in the 12 months before the introduction. A name alone is not a referral. The owner must contact Clearigy and confirm the introduction.
5. The code and attribution
A code exists only after a person at Clearigy reviews your application and approves it. The code is personal to you. Give the owner the card or your referral page, which carry the code. A referral is attributed when the owner contacts Clearigy with your code, or, if the owner names you, when Clearigy records the introduction against your code. Attribution lasts 12 months from the date the code is issued to the first contact. Clearigy's referral record is the record used to decide a dispute.
6. The disclosure duty
Before the owner contacts Clearigy, you must tell them that you may receive a referral fee, that they pay nothing extra, and that they can continue without the referral. The card and the referral page carry that disclosure. Do not hide the fee, pressure the owner, promise an outcome, or present Clearigy as their only option. A referral obtained by pressure or a false statement is not payable, and Clearigy may suspend the code.
7. The owner pays nothing extra
The fee comes from Clearigy, not from the owner. The owner's fee, if any, is the same with or without the referral. Clearigy does not send the owner's details to you. You never have to send Clearigy the owner's name, email, phone or financials.
8. Payment, tax and records
Clearigy pays the fee within 30 days after the transaction closes and the record is confirmed. Payment is by ACH or check. Before payment, Clearigy may ask for a completed W-9 and the information needed to pay you. You are responsible for your own taxes. If Clearigy is required to report the payment, it will issue a Form 1099-NEC. A payment is not wages, and no tax withholding is applied unless the law requires it.
9. Changes, suspension and termination
Clearigy may change the program, the fee schedule or these terms, and may suspend or end the program. A code already issued keeps the fee schedule that applied when it was issued for 12 months, unless Clearigy suspends the code for a breach of these terms. Clearigy may decline an application, suspend a code, or decline a fee when the referral was not genuine, the owner was already in Clearigy's pipeline, or these terms were breached.
10. No employment or agency
This program does not make you an employee, agent, partner or joint venturer of Clearigy. You have no authority to speak for Clearigy, sign for Clearigy, or make an offer on its behalf.
11. Privacy
Clearigy records your name, contact details, application, code and payment information to run the program, and keeps referral records for up to 24 months. The Privacy Policy explains the data, the retention and your choices. The referred owner's data is handled under the same policy and is not shared with you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. A dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and each party consents to that jurisdiction.
